Was handed out by a GM last night at the Festival of Might event on the Xegony server at the East Commonlands tunnel. The GMs asked the torch bearers to run across Antonica to the Arena: (East Commonlands -> North Ro -> South Ro -> Innothule Swamp -> Feerrott -> Rathe Mountains -> Lake Rathetear -> The Arena) The torch bearers were also asked to do this with only the torch equipped and nothing else.
Also remember Adventurers that CHA is huge for Enchanters who wish to Charm/Kite. For anyone not aware of this look into it - very effective way to make huge exp by charming MOBS to do your fighting for you like your pets. I have even made of a pet of various MOB Shamen, ex Orc Shamen and they actually medded and buffed me! Makes for a very effective way to get exp. Using spells like Tashan/Mez/Color Shift/Charm, etc can be very effective if used properly.
Rhodderick Hasturelhaylen Enchanter of the 25th Season
This item is great for a low to mid-ranged bard with no other cha pluses in their primary slot...... hold this along with my crude stein and I'll be selling great!
Yea I belive you can not bash with a second hand weapon or item if it has ac. I am a Wood Elf warrior of the 40th season I will check it out and get back to you all. I will use my frostbringer and see if that works wow this is like a few years from the last time someone wrote in here hope its not to late.
Don't most every shield in the game have AC? Im not saying that any sword with ac will allow bash, because im sure that is not so. Barbarians get racial slam, that is why he is able to do so.

I think it is a good idea to slowly build up a set of charisma increasing items for making transactions. I could be wrong but over time I think the effort invested would be worthwhile. It's always a good idea to save money and if you are in the area why not kill this NPC to obtain an item which would help you to do so.
quick set of cha gear is splitpaw necklace, a +5 cha shirt sold in south qeynos cloth shop, 2 opal encrusted steins (+25cha each and can be bought for 10pp at times). If you happen to have a bit more money you can always buy a kobold jester's crown which gives +30 more cha. With all that you will definately sell for the maximum price for your faction level with the merchant. Also, if you're using cha to make training at a guildmaster cheaper get the maximum amount of cha you can get and also get buffed with the +50 cha spell that enchanters get. There is no limit I can see on the amount of money cha can save you when training at your guild.
OOC: I agree. On most chars I have some Cha items for selling. Two 5-Cha-bracers (10pp each) plus 15-Cha crude stein plus 3-cha necklace (5pp) help me a lot in getting 10 to 25% better prices. i also remoove all negative-cha items before i sell.
you need a cha of about 105 to get max prices and a troll or ogre needs all the help possible to reach this.
Makes a big difference if you collect bronze and FS weapons or similiar and sell them.
I've pared my charisma kit down to two steins: Froststone (no drop from CC) and Crude (tradeable, from, umm...GFay as far as I know). Gives me 25 charisma, which with my base of 75 and a handful of plusses on my normal gear, gets me to 108, good enough for best prices.
For you questors out there... did either of you happen to notice that the scribe in the Blind Fish Tavern for the Book of Scale is also the One for the Book of Turmoil? Has this link been further investigated?
Dewshine Soulhealer <Avenging Heroes> Paladin of the 42nd season Quellious Server
This really stinks for the level you usually are for hand group. Been a while since I've been to unrest, but its probably like low to mid 20's. Enchanters should be working on their rod of insidious glamour quest by then. Did mine by 24 but effect didnt work till 30. P charisma+12 too, so its real nice
Use the Rod of Insidious Glamour and the Crude Stein...That's 27 CHA in two items! This item would be good if the Crude Stein is not an option. 7 AC isn't bad either =) Really good for selling items since it is ALL/ALL.
Please read the whole quest post. This is a part reward for a simple quest from Neriak involving the Book of Turmoil, NOT the reward for the Tome of Ages quest which requires books from the Hand in Unrest.
Not when I'm an Enchanter and the lowest lvl shield I can get til the 40's gives AC and HP... I don't NEED HP and AC, I need INT and CHA... You obviously don't need CHA for anything. So stay ugly and hopefully it won't reflect too much on yer attitude... Readin yer post I'd say it's too late though.
Good Day to you. Don't go get yerselves smitten...
I was hunting In LS and spotted this NPC named Tissla(close enough) She conned yellow to me so I snuck up behind her and broke her spine in two. Relulting loot was a rusty sword, raw-hide gloves, and this beauty of a glowing torch. I wonder what its worth. I'm gonna guess a lot.

It should work. I do think thatt just about anything with ac and in the offhand should bash. I've bashed with a parry dagger before, I think you can bash with 2hs swords with ac (Like Tower Guards Blade). Not sure about the 2 hander, but damn sure about the dagger which means you prob can ;)
Hmm your a shaman and i'm guessing your a large race such as a troll or ogre or barbarian who gets "racial slam" which is an ability that lets you "bash" no matter what is in your offhand. you could have a fish in your offhand and still racial slam but as far as bash goes it is pretty restricted to "shields" and I'm pretty sure you can't actually bash bash with a parrying dagger although I haven't tested it thoroughly.
