I am a lvl 48 cleric and I have had this item for quite some time. Just wondering if anyone knew of a better item that I could buy/ quest for... my deity is bert btw...don't ask lol!
Well, rawhidde sleeves would be an upgrade, and they drop off level 5 mobs.
Seriously, this is one of the worst items in the entire game, get rid of it immediately.
Check out giant scalemail is a cheap upgrade, as is the LDON crafted armor called Sandblasted Plate.
Since you're level 48, you might want to look into doing some Butcherblock LDONs, because the 40 point armor is a huge upgrade to this.

Ha ha yeah that's the truth... these are pretty useless especially after 20. I have done many ldons in BB to get my remove curse and Iony's set of spells, then I switched to NRo ldons after seeing the armor that can be purchased there for 1450 adv points. I am now lvl 52 and STILL have this damn thing, but ty for your advice and I will keep looking, especially in the ldon merchants as I plan to live in NRo LDON's from now till I can get 1450 hehe. Thanks again.

What does mana preservation 1 do?
You can click on effect right below the description. It is 10% less mana on all spells you cast, not a proc it will work everytime; but...the spells have to level 20 and under. Mana preservation II is also 10% but for spells 44 and under, III is 60. The other restriction is that it excludes complete heal, so no breaks for clerics.(

Just FYI, this item doesn't show on your character. There is no display on your arms. If you like to see your muscles, this is the item for you. =)
