price on Inny

10.5 to 13K over the past year. Once saw for less than 10K, once for 17K. This is a great twink item, because when a main gets to a decent enough level to kill for it now, the number of items that outclass this are extensive.

In talking with friends who play on different servers, it seems like Tarew's economy is a bit off from the other old servers. Though I'm no Bazaar junkie, I'm not sure if 11k is true or not. :shrugs: Mileage may vary.

Anyone know what a realistic price of this is on Mith Marr? So many people are telling me 20k, but i dont think its worth that much.

Going price on MM is a firm 20k, unless you get lucky and someone is desperate to sell.

On Veeshan server at least 20k is standard pricing. ENC in my regular group got one for 17k and she is a bargain hunter.
this cloak owns
# Sep 12 2002 at 2:32 AM Rating: Default
Just got my cloak yesterday and it owns. I mean, with capped int, the 75 mana is great for caster types, as well as just about all lol, want to say thanx for the uber grp guys, you know who you are, and this is definetly a sweet addition to my gear.

i must be missing something
# Aug 23 2002 at 10:29 PM Rating: Default
i just cant see why it is going for 10-18k. Don't flame...I would really like to know...its a smiters girdle that fits on your back and has one more to each stat plus 100hp...ok i see the hp is a lot but 18K...i dont get it.

# Aug 27 2002 at 1:09 PM Rating: Default
I play a chanter, and it has nice all around stats: cha, int, mana, hp, and even decent AC. It gives something to everything practically! The high mana/hp are nice (I might be able to take another hit... maybe). I can see 5kp - 8kp on Tunare, but the rarity might up it more. I'll check bazaar to see if I can find any.

This is all/all, it is relatively low in weight, it has 75 hp AND mana (smiters girdle does not) and 10 ac is considered average HP for a belt.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 14 2002 at 5:10 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Regardless of AC or stas but as a trade item this owns for any melee that dont use back item for haste. AC means nothing HPs own the end game. If im in a group and this drops I will call need on it cause it jus owns for 75hp on back. plus stam increase at 4.2 hp per stam point at level 60 unless you have 255 stam which none of my toons do yet. Casters beware this melee will call need on this bad boy to replace my dire-wolf hide or cloak of maelstorm. Dont believe me about HPs own AC get 2 monks same level both epiced, but have one that went for all ac and one that went for all HP. when they duel when it all comes down to the one with most HPs wins.

This is a phenomenal cloak for any class. I am a Ranger and I am definitely enjoying the benefits it gives heheh. PC on Xegony server is 12-15k. I bargained down to 8.5k and have seen as low as 10k. Stay well

I would have to say that the class that would make the most use of of all the stats would be a Bard. They use all but the wis. But great all around cloak for any class any time. Not end game material but then again no one said it was...

Heck, i see it as a casters cloak, but im not greedy, i'd wear one of these bad boys on my Warrior =)
Awesome cloak
# Mar 10 2002 at 2:32 AM Rating: Default
Very awesome cloak, but its not jsut for casters!! Look at it! its even better for hybrids like a paladin that use both Melee and caster stats, all hybrids use ALL but one of those stats(depedning if u are a WIS based hybrid or Int based) its an awesome cloak, i see it mainly very good for hybrids however.
Casters
# Feb 04 2002 at 1:17 PM Rating: Default
Goto the Casters? Its ALL/ALL. and has as many melee adds as "caster" adds haha. Great for every class.

MHO
# Dec 07 2001 at 11:42 AM Rating: Default
First, I will agree that this item can be used by every class for one reason or another. As an enchanter the item provides several things that would be beneficial. The INT is a given, all pure casters can use it. The CHA is also a plus for helping with mezzes, etc. The additional mana is something again, that any type of caster, priest, hybrid, or pure caster, would use. The strength would be a plus for an enchanter to help carry items, but not really a requirement. The agility helps keep from getting hit. An enchanter not getting hit is more apt to get a mez so to me, this item has more stats that benefit the enchanter class directly, based on primary stats than any other class; however, I still believe that this item makes one of the best back items for anyone who can obtain it.

Yes Sir Daddin I would agree with you, but let's not forget about the HP and AC which should also be very important to the weakest high aggro taking class :)

It is unfortunate but you are also correct that this would be an alright item for most classes and a great item for some classes, still.... REALLY great item for chanters. I have been trying to get one for some time. :/
RE: MHO
# Mar 28 2002 at 2:35 PM Rating: Default
Look at the level of attainability, a tank or hybrid will have better by now. Doesn't really matter the tanks will roll on it anyway. You hear em crying out NBG on the expensive tank items but you won't hear them in drops like these, they always get them. Maybe I should start up a tank and do the same thing, at least I'll have something to show for all my work other then level 56 in crystalline robe.

Definately for casters.

...and perchance a monk or two. You wanna know why? Cause I just did a search on cloaks with >10 AC. I found 43 cloaks with 10 and up to 35 ac. Most of them had stats, a small portion of them were also crafted items. Many of them so much easier to get than this baby. Dunno why I am even saying this... cause I never saw a melee with this cloak. As for myself? I am a necro. This is about as good as that 10ac 15dr/pr 75hp/mana cloak from Chardok. And only cloak I have found that is better is Cloak of Venom from ToV. Sk/necro cloak with 18ac 9sta 9int 100hp and a couple resists. Other casters don't even have that... So ya, let your local caster get this if it drops and he will use it. Cause I think he WILL use it until he quits the game. Most likely.

Just my 2cp

Why is this a Hierophant Cloak for Casters?

Ok, I can see all of you pointing at this being a caster item. To some extent I agree, one dropped for us in Seb this weekend and none of the tanks including me asked to roll. But would someone please point out what back item I'm going to get as a Tank, especially a hybrid, that is better. CoF, Lodizal Shell Shield and a few others - extremely hard to get. However, you can get this item with just one or two 50's groups of regular non-uber people in Seb.

You will get 20 Hierophant Cloaks before you get one CoF. Hierophant Cloaks should still go to casters of course. I just wanted to put things in perspective. Don't get me wrong. If someone GAVE me a Hierophant's cloak, I would wear it. My current cloak sucks. When I got a suitable melee cloak to replace the H. Cloak, I would pass the H. Cloak to a caster guildmate and wear the melee cloak in its place.
