We murmur of our beginnings. We tell children bright tales. But we preach forgetfulness. And this is good, for the truth is heresy. To remember what our god does is not folly. To remind him of his days as an eplorer, his fame and place amongst the Vah Shir will only kindle his rage. To show him the secret ledgers and testaments we have recovered from the Shissar would surely call his wrath. To tell him of his torture and rebirth through death at the hands of the Shissar must bring our destruction. And so we must conceal the truth.

It's been a while since I read it but it goes like...
"We know the secret. But we cannot tell it. We tell your children stories of glory and celebrate our creator but the shame of the truth lays heavy upon us. If we would tell him his truth we obtained from the ancient books he couldn not take it. He could not understand, it would drive him mad. This is why we celebrate and live a way of lies."

I just looted it off the a grimling primalist in Acrylia Caverns.

I got this drop of "A Grimling Bloodmage" near the castle in acrylia caverns. I saw this mentioned by someone else as being involved in a quest. Anyone know what quest this is for? Any information you can divulge would be greatly appreciated.

Agent Tiest (1200,-1000, Grimling Forest) is looking for old books. His first request to you is to find Legends of Lies, which is dropped in inner Acrylia Caverns from most any named.
Retrieve Legends and Lies for him, and he'll hand you a 4-slot container for the others. you'll need to attain the Testament of night from the Shissar Assasin in Ssra Temple, and the Legder of Pain from the Shissar Magistrate in ssra temple as well.
The 4th book, the Mnemonic of Khati Sha is dropped by Khati Sha the Twisted (final boss in Acrylia), combine the 4 books in the container you were provided, hand in the combined result for the reward.
Note that Agent Tiesh is only in Grimling forest once the war with the grimlings has been completed.

I said it was for a beastie epic /bonk which it isn't , its for some kind of quest in grim forest, you turn it in an a guy begins to explain how the book shows that the shissar even have curropted the grimlings or such an such an there isn't much else on it, gives a blank note that "records" something an he needs it back with some of the correct such an such things... haven't figured it out myself /shrug
