Can't recall the mob's exact names; two dropped off the mobs (behind the clocks): Rock and Water mobs. Great stats. No Wizzy's in attendance (can you believe it?) Dang thing almost rotted! Great stats - my Druid picked this up.

My guild on Sol Ro just got time time a week ago and we got 2 of these shieds to drop tonite. Awesome loots grats to our wizards, to bad the look is exactly like the LDoN shields you see people running around with, just a white shield with a spike coming out from the middle of the shield. Really thought the look would be much better =x

This is wizzy item based on focus effect - of course if all the guild wizards have better...

in the changes to time loot that shield no longer has 20 sta but now has 20 agi instead

What's the fascination with arguing over which class deserves to get items???
This is Time loot. Whoever can use a particular item and has the most points (and in some cases, best attendance) will put Time loot in their bag. I seriously doubt you will see randoming in Time unless the guild has a system where, when 2+ ppl want an item and they are within X points of each other, they random. Handing stuff like this out based off someone else's whim is retarded and I seriously doubt a guild with the capability to get into Time would be "still" handing loot in such a fashion, as well as the pure "/random" system...

I would say Druid and Shaman over cleric due to the focus
And yes of the inteligence casters I believe Wiz would get the most use out of the focus effect.
As for the stats all classes listed would benefit from them fairly equally.

Posted: May 28 2003 at 6:49 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I'd say the focus effect is better geared towards a druid because of the ice dmg nuke (druids 1550 best nuke in game is ice based) but this certainly isn't an end game shield compared to other shields dropping in elemental planes. Other shields have much better effects/focus
more of a cleric item for stats or wizard for the focus effect?

IMHO. i would roll on this for my enchanter anyday of the week and i wouldnt feal bad for takeing it from the wizard's. the stats are off the hook and the effect well i may get into groups for dps with this item lol.

Its funny how clueless the lower level players to the game are....first and foremost this item would never be "rolled" on. Rolling is old school and for newbie guilds. Rolling is acceptable if you're in an exp group outside of your guild, other than that loots of this nature are either decided by guild officers or done through DKP.

I noticed it's an older post, but for those newer folks to Time...Open/Pickup raids commonly roll for items. Besides that, nowadays some of these items are even considered "rot loot" by todays standards. Basically my point is: don't be discouraged, join the open raid channels on your server and watch for these sorts of events, you might be surprised at the items you'd be able to obtain.

What's funnier still is that I just saw someone roll for this item the other day. Just because the high end guilds you know don't roll for gear, doesn't mean they all do. Alot of guilds use hybrid DKP/rolling methods to decide on loot, so perhaps before we assume the worse about someone we could give them the benefit of the doubt.

Too bad enchanters don't get a cold nuke for this focus effect. Your DPS wouldn't change at all.
Eh. I'd say equally good for any of them, really. Unless there's something better that's restricted more, class-wise.
Edit: Barring the focus, of course. Wizards are the reigning royalty of DD.
