Would this focus effect (Haste II) help to increase the casting speed of items with effects? For example, the Deepwater helmet takes about 10 seconds to cast. Would wearing the Mithril Runed Tunic help to decrease that casting time? I'd appreciate any information regarding this. Thank you.

No, focus effects don't affect clicky items (any more).

I have an Ulthork Hide tunic on my druid 13ac 3wis and 35 PURE mana once over the 200 cap the extra 2 point only gives you about 12 mana so my question is WHY
Spell haste. I would take this over the ulthork anyday, simply becasue I can cast spells faster with it.
Since Luclin, the Wisdom cap has been 255. That probably answers the question of WHY. :) Plus this doesn't have negative 35 HP.
That, and some Druids hear that Wisdom = more mana, so they go for +Wis gear over +Mana gear.

actually, the wisdom cap has always been 255 (that's the hard cap beyod which no stat can go). but pre-luclin, you would only receive 1 mana per wisdom point. Now you receive 6 mana per wisdom point over 200. this also takes into consideration that at level 25 each point of wisdom or int is about 5 mana, and at 50 each is about 10 mana (this is 200 and below).
You think its high when you posted this? watch it jump now that it has spell haste 2, time to find one for my lil cleric.

Ulthork does have more mana, both before and after the 200 mark. However it is neg 35hp and neg 5cha, while this has an additional 3sta. So I think it's clear why a melee or hybrid would want this. And as for druids, if yuou charm an animal your going to need the cha to keep him charmed, and the hp for when he breaks and beats you down.

You can flame me as much as ya want but how does it look? i got a BS tunics but im lookin for a Plate look or something special atleast. im sick and tired of looking like a dorf in a jogging suit as a dorf cleric.

What does this item look like when equipped on a human druid?

Foremans Tunic is only 3 wis and 3 str and weight is .1 as apposed to this 2.5. Same AC though.

But it is true that it got +3str/wis, and it is AC10 too.
So you trade the 3 str for 3 sta, and you trade 2.5 in weight to get 2 more wis.
Your call if you wanna go there.

I bought it other day for mine for 890pp and my Forman's Tunic...then when i went to put it on bout 1hr later (sellin stuff in NFP) it didn't fit because of race! HOW PREDJUDICED!!! Yes i am gonna cry now...good hunting all =o)
