Does anyone know if in fact this effect kicks in when healing pet with its own heal spell? Like: Healing of Sorsha is a BST- 2100hp "Beneficial" pet heal spell and all the raw data would seem to suggest that pet heal spells are included. But can anyone confirm plz. Thanks tons.
Yes. Mana Preservation works onmost spells, Pet Heals included. So does Improved Healing. To all those low level Beasties out there, get youself a Blackened Glass Eye. You'll be glad you did well into your 50s.

Does mana preservation 4 stack with preservation of xegony?
No, but you *can* use both. Focus effects generally use the best effect that applies, so if you have FoX and MP4, then spells that FoX applies to will get that, and everything else will get MP4.

...getting one of these, some of your components come only from 4th tier planes.

actually diety specific items can still be all/all, but yes it would still say which diety it is for
This is a sweet ranged item! I burn thru a ton of Mana and I know this would help out immensely. Now just waiting for the recipe so I know who I have to bribe...
