Dang....should have read this before trying to make them...

Knew there had to be a reason why getting from 188 to 212 is not easy - because they nerfed it.

its a very fast way to bring the smithing points up two points. at this point you should have a geerlok smithing tool to bring your smithink skill up by 5%, so if you have 210, you should have 220, and this allows you to make the rings, until it becomes trivial to you at 212, but still, if you take the geerlok off your primary, even with the skill of 212, you wont be able to make them anymore. but when you put back the help of a geerlok, which brings the skill again to past 220, youll be able to make more of them. until you actually get your skill to 220, you wont be able to make these without that geerlok. i hope this gives people a more clear answer

If I am correct, this wont allow me to smith these rings because my smith is only lvl 42. She has a smithing skill of 210, and I keep getting the message about...something like...im not old enough to even attempt this combine. Does it mean level or does it mean smithing skill I wonder??
