Lord Gimblox spawned twice within a 2 hour period, and I was able to get two rings from him for both of my clerics. I consider myself lucky. (On Rizlona)

This is pretty crazy to have a line of clerics wanting the room, but one player (like me) holds the camp for 3 days pulling his hair out that the mob won't spawn. I don't play to baby sit mobs that can't even hit me for double digit dmg. Seems only fair to let more clerics have access to Lord Gimblox, so why not spawn him every 20min like it is possible to do, but once a cleric (or a MQ'r) gets the drop, then lock his toon for 3days. I would be happier with that, and play an alt, than to just sit here and pick my nose for 50+ hrs. Not much fun in that, especially when i know I am going to kill him with one nuke when he spawns. Missing guild flag runs, raids, and other fun stuff all for this insane concept. At least they did make the drop rate of pearl shards in SF more frequent, but that too use to be a few months worth of killing mobs you were no longer getting xp for.

wow was ready to spend the weekend camping this guy, and after only 3 hours there he is =) and guild mate had the rope collecting dust so now doing ixy tomarrow

Loc -796.45 -366.62 confirmed. dood is a pain to spawn, plan on being here for a long time, or getting lucky, buy a lotto ticket the same day you start the camp chances are you'll win it b4 he spawns

Hi there Clerics of Norrath.
I bound in Goblin King Room in Sol A. I pop in and out hoping to catch him. The gobbies were annoying and no match for my pet...laffs. As a 59 Cleric, can I solo this guy? Any stratagies? Suggestions? Appreciate your advise.

Yes you can i was playing with my dad and i was playing on his girlfriends cleric she was level 59 and we waited for 6 hours when he showed up. when i attacked him, i killed him as easy as a cave rat
Clear the room around him, root and nuke. I had resists of 100+ or buffed to 100+ when I took him, and none of the goblins in the room's spells hit me at all. Easy to solo, you could even melee him with the summoned hammer, and your pet.
Anyway, I did it at lower level than you (51), making sure to pacify when breaking the room, and using root to handle adds. I was able to keep the king room and gimblox room clear solo (was boring camp). Only possible problem you could have is if you got adds, or were trained. I did have someone try to train me out of the camp, but luckily he died, and I was able to root and single kill the mobs he brought.

yes the crown can be mq because i did mq for myself. I camped it with 65alt because he had eb fishing pole. then made the turn in and just looted with me cleric. as far as the ring i understand that it is also mq able but i have not done so myself

Can somebody tell me if anypart of the cleric epic is multiquestable? i never relized the the ring and the crown were part of the cleric epic if they can be mq i would just do it for a cleric
The only piece I know for CERTAIN can be MQed, is the scroll from chardok.
Typically, however, any turn in that involves 2 or more pieces can be MQed, as long as the quester has at least one of the pieces, and turns their piece in last.

I started camping this guy at the beginning of June. I just got him today. My total time camping him was just over 25 hours (non-consecutive).
The spawn time is almost exactly 19 minutes. There was no change in spawn time from the last placeholder I killed to when Lord Gimblox spawned.
At Level 54, my cleric held the room without any trouble, although getting there was interesting a couple times. ;)

Can u believe i got this ring when i was lvl 30 or so while camping the Goblin King room for xp...i didnt know what it was for so i later distroyed it thinknin it was just taking up space in my inventory..now that im near starting my epic and i begin to do some research on it..lo and behold this ring is part of it!!! OMG!!! i could just kill myself for this =/

OMG have been here for 3 DAYS now and STILL no Grimblox..... best of luck to the rest of you. I would believe he was simply a figment of someone's evil imagination if it were not for all the other epiced clerics running about :(

Just confirming but this IS for the cleric epic and when i was here the cleric that was camping him had been there for 2 days already :\. So im not sure what his pop time is.
This is for the Cleric Epic...as far as I know, that's the only thing it's for, unless you want to raise you're Fire resist. =P

Dropped by Lord Gimblox himself, a goblin that spawns near the king in Solusek's Eye - no ide what it is for.

I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure this is a part of the cleric epic.

What is this for anyways? It has to be a quest. Any info whatsoever would be appreciated, as it is taking up bank space.
