just got these last week. must say the effect is a nice complement to my ornate boots. we had no tanks bid on this item because our guild holds a certain amount of respect to classes that can use effects, and dont drool over stats. there have been many all/all items that have dropping in VT that id bid on in a heartbeat because the stats were awesome, but didnt because i have no need for vengence or 41% haste. my onlu complaint.. no wisdom, i guess thats what ldon is for though
I go along with Zebraman Stats are not that important agreed, But i like the Resists. All tanks need them most if anygood at keeping agro, i think we all know the last think we like to see is our own buffed up tank turning on our casters.
I'll go one step further, I look for Effects as well. He who has the most effects to go with the skill and gear has the most Effectiveness *grin. Just got these pants and the massive buff haste has saved my life twice now. I can usually spam cast my Rune on myself between swings for most mobs hitting under 1k. I get smacked around a bit but if the 'pull' becomes a train having the Enchanter survive just long enough for AE Taunt to land and mezz it off means the differance between death and XP. Stats are handy and I'll likely put a resist or hp/mana aug in them, but I put in for them for the Effect as much as the HP/saves. Also it appears the AA abilities stack with it further lowering the cast times.
