Baught this for my Shammy on Antonius Bayle in the Bazaar at 140pp there was someone also selling at 220pp .
Ok i hear someone saying it proc at lv 34 , might it proc at an earlier lv for someone with more Wiz, maybee it depends on mana?

It must be equiped to be used (so only SHM can use) and the casting time is Instant.

Chrysoberyl Talisman from Minotaur Elder in Guk has one more point of wis and 5 more mana and it's easier to get.
The 5 charges of summon companion spirit are essentially useless on this. If it was unlimited, that would be a different story.
We got one last night, if I remember correctly it dropped off the Construct of Sathir.

Unfortunately I've only 100pp.
After some conversation...
A_Warrior: so no? Lotsa great shaman stuffs in here.
Me: Sorry just blew all my money in Alchemy this morning, do you accept trade? I wouldd like to trade my blackjack for your ebon war spear, I can throw in a 100plat for you also.
A_Warrior: Nah
A_Warrior is inspecting you.
A_Warrior: Ill trade the stuffs in here for the two Forest Loops you are wearing
Me: It better be an insane offer, I love this loops.
A_Warrior: Ill trade you this fang for both loops.
(Keep in mind, I really love to hang on to these loops, but the necklace ac. and wis is really tempting.)

Me: How about this, Ill take the deal if you will trade me your ebon for my blackjack.

Me: let's cut loose the 100pp

Imagine fighting a mob being level 34+ and your pet dies....your low on mana and health.... what are your choices 1. run like a sissy. or 2. use yer amulet for emergency <fast cast> pet and be able to finish it off.
Items with spells you can cast save you mana or are for emergency cases....one I had saved my life 5 times <1 per charge> so no not useless and not snowjob.

it casts the shamans first pet, they get it at lvl 34, so the pet it summons is in the level range of 27s..

Don't be fooled by this. My shaman is lvl 29 and a friend gave this necklace to me. My first attempt at using the effect gave me the stomach lurching response of "You are not high enough level to use this equipment" (or something to that effect) as the 3 ice goblins barreled down on me and my group. Needless to say, I was not thrilled. From what I understand, you need to be at least lvl 34 to use this item, and by the time you hit lvl 34 you can cast the spell to summon this pet anyway ... another Verant snowjob. Obviously, someone didn't think too much about the logistics when designing this item, especially considering that by the time you can get one on your own, you'll have a far better pet anyway. In the meantime, that 6 AC and 2 WIS aren't too bad ....

IMO, if you're at level 34, instant cast pet would absolutely rule. What? You don't want an emergency pet when the one you've summoned earlier dies?

got one lastnight, anyone have any ideal what it's worth? an what lv do the sham's get the spell companion spirit? an if it rechargable if so how?
