The quest requires ally faction to whisperlings. OK. such an ultra rare drop deserves every effort to ensure the succes of the quest. That in mind i need to ask if there is a positive way to target and con something to VERIFY whisperling faction. No way i want to hand it in and not be able to successfully complete the quest. Any help appreciated please.
the soul essence isn't rare if your guild does VT. it drops every time. only trouble is that it's all/all so u will have to put in some balls to get it ;)
as of Sept 16, 2003 add me to the list of lucky recipients of this item. Thank you Obsidian Coven for this awesome and treasured drop. You cant believe how i feel getting such an item.

If you get THIS item in a raid on Vex Thal, then consider yourself VERY lucky. You may not know, but if you hand in this to Remnants of Vah Kerrath in Umbral, (And if the GM's fixed the quest), then Vah Kerrath will rejoice and give you this:
Blessing of Vah Kerrath: Increase Mana by 8 per tick over 600 ticks Increase Hit Points (HP) by 8 per tick over 600 ticks Increase Attack (ATK) by 20 Ultravision Damage shield for 8 hit points
And as I remember, Only 3 guilds have entered Vex Thal and lived. Which means, the maximum there could be of these existing around EQ is 3.
the number of guilds I don't much care about, maybe htere were only 3 guildes in vt at the time. But to say that that makes a max of three of these doesn't make any sence to me. Are you trying to say AHR can only drop her essence one time for each guild ever?
I looked at the FoH websight and whoever writes that crap is a flaming a-hole. If it is the leader he is immature and very insecure (***** size came up many times in the description of vex thal). I know they are very powerfull but i would never in my life join a guild with someone so stupid at the wheel.
First off, it usually isn't the guild leader who does the posts on the websites. Simply because someone uses what others brand as "immature" language, they write them off as ignorant, & these people obviously aren't. Even with the resources they have, do you think you could come up with the strategy they use to succede on these incredibly complicated raids? Every so-called "uber guild" out there that i've ever seen swears, calls names, & generally has a good time w/o others telling them what they can & can't say. Good luck finding an end-game guild that doesn't.
Maybe The Shadow Order isn't an uber guild because we don't swear, put people down, ride roughshod over people, or exploit, and we even spell correctly!
We only entered VT last week, but yesterday we cleared it, and one of our monks won this.
