I've decided to make a healing class to play with my paladin and ranger friend.
I've narrowed it down to a Cleric or Druid.
Clerics have the best heals and great hp buffs
Druids have ports, ok heals, and dots
Any advice? on which class would best benefit our trio. and which race would be best.
I was thinking about Erudite, Dwarf or Gnome

IMO build another shaman since you have no slower or haste. If just between clerics and druids go with cleric becouse you will need all the healing power you can get in a group without a slower.

cleric is nice cause if your not with your friends normally u will never go with out a grp.
as far as race, in the long run it really isn't gonna matter with items and AA's your wis. will be maxed out very easily.

I am biased and would normally recommend a cleric and the no problems with finding a group comment is so true. However, with a Ranger and Paladin, it may be fun to stick with another hybrid and go with a druid. All three would have some healing power and with the dps of a druid, slows would not be as important.
