what isthe best areafor a lvl 17 cleric to lvl up at
Get into a group at Paludal caverns, You can level superfast. I took my cleric at 17 got in with a group and just played healer, and within 6 hours was level 24.

At lvl 17 I would say Unrest wwent there at 16 and stayed til 39 best bet would be to solo xp comes pretty quick and I find it a fun zone.Just watch the trains can be deadly

I guess it depends on how you play or want to play your character. Soloing can build you defense and attack abilities while grouping can build your spellcasting. You can group or solo anywhere however there are places like Paludal that gives good XP even while your in groups and places like UNREST where you can get good XP soloing

I like Blightfire Moors at this level. It may not be a hot zone, but it is full of yellows at this level. I solo'ed my Cleric here, with level appropriate bazaar bought gear, and some mage summoned gear. Was easy, and the experience was very good.
Unrest is a great choice, work the upper floors till mid 20's, then head to the basement till mid 30's, then head to TOFS till 40. THen lower guk till 50, then Howling Stones to 55, then Veksar to 60's
