Classes: The Bard

Bards - the jack of all trades. Each level is a new song and a new way to play. Handy with a weapon and able to wear decent armor, bards can hold their own in a fight. Plus, the ability to twist two to three songs without using mana gives the bard a magical ability like no other class.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the bard? Can they solo, and if so how? How should they best contribute to the group? What is the best strategy to develop your bard? What skills and songs are the most important for you to master? What equipment should you be trying to get for your bard.

Hi Guys

Have some ideas on other solo spots and just wanted to get your feedback. I am 45 atm.

* Seaflury Cyclops's in Ocean of Tears. I Used to solo here with my mage back in the day, I think they drop a gem or 2.

* Ice Giants in Halas -- This is almost to good to post since the cash they drop is NICE! (Sometimes have gottten the equivelant to 60 pp with items and cash)

* Cobalt Scars - Awesome XP Here and some gems as well. Make sure to have good Claws of Veeshan Faction here. Makes it easier to zone in. O and you need a Port to get here -- and out.

* Eastern Waste - Lots of stuff to fight here Cougars, Giants, Ulthorks, O and here is a little Quest you can do that is cool, Kill the Ulthorks and gather any tusks they drop take four at a time and trade in to The Weasly King Guy in Cobalt Scars and recieve back a Gem , When I did this quest I recieved a ruby 119pp.

I am sure these have all been posted before but kinda fun to go over them again.

At 39-51 I did Timorous Deep spirocs swarm kiting. Pull about half of treehouse, charm kite them tell they dead, then pull other half. Got about a lvl every hour- hour and a half til 49, when it slows down a bit. At 52, I did wolves in PoN. Costs a lot of mana, so earring of solstice would help a LOT. Did that til pretty much 64 with some PoV grps in between, then swarm kited yard trash. Not too bad aa at 65, about an aa every 2 hrs, not great, but nice when lfg.
