I just bought the anniversary edition and created a drakkin (black) necromancer.

I will be using real life cash to get some money since this time I dont want to have to gather it myself. (Il propably get like 200 000 platinum) It has been years since I last played eq so I am not at all familiar about the current prices an such (for example. How much does a decent item cost these days on the market)

My question is this:

Can anyone suggest good items to buy at low levels, what those items are and also if you should know, how much they cost (estimate).

Also my brother is making a wizard so good items for him would also be apreciated.


More questions:

Is 200 000 platinum a lot(or enough) of money? Since I allready got several platinum at the starting zone and I dont recall getting platinum so easy many years ago.

If you cannot or dont want to post good items, then is there a good web page where I can easily search for caster items? Or you can also say witch kind of items should I buy at start? (Int?, Mana?, Ac?, etc.)

for the rec items the amount of stats and bonuses you get are lower the farther you are from the rec lvl when you first examine an item it will show you the stats you recieve at your lvl you will see a button on the items examine window however that when clicked shows you the benifits you will get at the rec lvl not all rec items are great at low lvl though i suggest you buy some low lvl gear and swap for your rec lvl item once the benifets have caught up or passed you other item

Buy the best things u see that are recomended lol so when u lvl ur stats will go up more then things without rec lvl
i try hard for what i get lol
