My pet seldom does any damage to a mob except when I reverse direction on a kite. Is there any way to speed up a pet's motion with a spell/potion/item/etc.?If it was faster perhaps it could hit more often.

Necro's get a pet buff that increses attack speed. If you want to see them, go to the spell section and put "attack speed" for the description and you will see what's available. Also haste spells that can be cast on PC's can be cast on your pet, some will stack with your pet buff others will overwrite it. Hope that was what you were looking for.

Keep in mind, you usually only see the pet hits when you're very close to the mob. I know for me that's frequently when I reverse direction. If the mob is snared, he should easily keep up, except in zones where pathing is terrible (granted, that's a fair number of zones).

you can also talk to a mage and have them summon u up some pet toys which have haste on them to increase atk rate, plus they have other fin little bonuses 2.
