augments for a 52 warrior
#1 Nov 27 2005 at 7:20 AM Rating: Decent
I am a 52 warrior. I solo 95% of the time. I make decent money and have failry good equipment. Without spending a ton more money than i have i am not currently able to improve my equipment. As i solo, i rarely do Ldon's and have never gotten on a group for DOD missions. As such i only have 2 augs. I tried to look up augments in the item search, but hey, which one out of 4000+ should i look up? I was wondering if there was a way for me to get some augments for my charicter. I do have a 48 wizard who would help me also.
Thanks for the help

You could head to Draniks Scar and hunt in at least two places there for augs.

The first place is near the Bloodfield zoneline. Common mobs there occasionally drop augs that give +4 to a given stat - like strength. I did that and took 7 of these augs to a jeweler who cut them for free. They become +12 in that same stat once cut. Was a good deal for both of us, I gave him the chance to skill up and he cut me augs for free. Sometimes high levels are "factioning" at this camp, so it can be a nice place to get in a group for exp and see some augs.

The second place is by a tree near the priests where a mob named Ukun Gutfeaster that can pop. This mob sometimes drops a +5 str, +5 sta, +5 dex, +5 cha, +5 int, +5 wis aug. I've seen this drop perhaps 5 times in passing by over the last 7 months. I'll bet on average you could get one to drop if you spent 4-10 hours there and at 52 you'll get moderate exp to boot.
